The advantages of DIP LED display screen-----Saving Energy
The DIP LED display uses a single LED tube whose pins pass through the circuit board and are soldered on the back of the circuit board. There are many combinations of LEDs for this type of display. For example, 3 and 4 LED tubes are used as a pixel. They use single or multiple red, green and blue LED tubes to improve the color mixing effect and brightness of the display. . Some displays even use 5 or 6 LED tubes as a pixel to meet the more demanding outdoor environment's requirements for brightness, color, and contrast.
Generally, the current of 6500cd/m² 2 scan SMD P10 LED module is 9.5A and the power is 47W, while the current of the RGB DIP P10 LED module with a brightness of 8000cd/m2 is 4.5A and the power is 22W, which can save 50% energy.
We use the conventional P10 DIP full-color LED display with a maximum power of 500W per square, compared to a maximum power of 950W for a SMD screen. The maximum power is used to calculate an energy saving of about 50% per square meter. Let’s calculate electricity cost on basis of 100m².
RGB DIP LED display: 500W×100m²=50KW;
SMD LED display :950W×100m²=95KW.
If it works 15 hours a day, 365 days a year,
SMD LED display will cost: 95×15×365=520,125KW/year;
RGB DIP LED display will cost: 50×15×365=273,750KW/year.
If calculated on the basis of $0.16/KWh: the electricity bill of SMD LED screen is about $83,200, and the DIP LED screen is about $43,200 yuan, saving electricity bill is about $40,000/year. In actual use, it can’t always be the maximum power consumption. If it works normally at 30% and saves electricity, it can save about $16,000 for 100m2 screen a year. According to the service life of the DIP LED display for 8 years, you can buy a new LED display for the saved electricity. .
