Now the general LED display screen, according to the industry standard, the mainstream is divided into plug-in LED display screen and table paste LED display screen. The LED display screen is spliced by a LED module. Whether it is plug-in or watch sticker, it is eventually spliced into a single surface to display the content. Structurally speaking, each LED module is composed of four parts: lamp face, PCB circuit board, IC surface and bottom shell mask. So what's the difference between a plug-in LED display and a tabular LED display? We make a comparison from the following 5 aspects. 1. materials. The first is the difference between lamp beads. The lamp beads used for plug-in LED display are mainly irregular long round lamp beads, the main models are f3/f5/346 and other models, its packaging process is mature, waterproof performance is good, and the luminous surface is full luminous surface. Technology. The PCB circuit board used in the SMD LED display screen is a solder pad, which is used to weld the lamp foot of the LED lamp bead affixed to the surface. On the other hand, the PCB circuit board used in the DIP plug-in LED module has holes in the relevant pads, and the LED lamp beads are inserted into the welding P12.5 DIP LED module. SMD is a surface welding process, which is only welded on the surface of the product. DIP is a straight-through (PTH)) process with double-sided welding (solder on the front and back). Therefore, relatively speaking, the welding process of plug-in DIP is more stable than that of SMD. 3. Application. Because of the limitation of its structure, the direct plug-in LED module is mainly used in P10, P16, P20 and other spacing, the smaller spacing is P8, and the minimum spacing is P6. Because of its good waterproof performance, high brightness and high stability, it is mainly used in outdoor media advertising and transportation municipal projects. On the other hand, because of its regular structure, the metal bracket can be adjusted, and there are various types of watch-pasted LED lamp beads. The watch-pasted LED modules range from outdoor P10, P8, P6, P5, P4, P3, P2.5, to indoor P10/P7.62/P6/P5/P4.75/P4/P3/P2.5/P2/P1.875/P1.667/P1.56/P1.25/P1.0, etc., all kinds of applications with various spacing. The plug-in LED cannot be used in small spacing products. 4. Performance. First of all, the brightness comparison, the same spacing products, such as plug-in P10 outdoor full-color LED display and table sticker P10 outdoor full-color LED display, the brightness of direct insertion is generally greater than that of table stickers, and the energy saving of direct insertion LED screen is generally about 30% more than that of watch sticker LED display. 5.P12.5 DIP LED module Lifespan. The last part is the comparison of service life. The plug-in lamp chip is generally larger than the surface stick lamp bead chip, and the sealing of the package is more complete and unified than the surface stick lamp bead (the straight plug lamp bead is a unified arc surface, and the surface paste lamp bead is a cube with 6 sides). In terms of practical application, the plug-in LED display screen is brighter than the surface paste LED display screen and has a longer service life.
